Dank der hervorragenden Leistungen des Teams um Küchenchefin Katja Burgwinkel erhielt das Novalis in diesem Jahr 16 Punkte im Gault Millau sowie zwei "F" im FEINSCHMECKER Guide. Einen Wechsel gab es in der Leitung des Gourmet-Restaurants auf dem Gräflichen Landsitz Hardenberg: diese hat im November 2008 der 30-jährige Florian Geson übernommen.

The Hardenberg Golf Resort is one of the best golf resorts in Germany and one of the few resorts which have an official 5-Star Rating for their courses.
