Behind the idea for the agency "Golf Tourism Development & Services" as well as behind the marketing cooperation "Deutsche Golf Strasse®" stands Mr. Jens Bernitzky (42).

He can look back on more than 20 years of experience in the national and international top hospitality as well as in the tourism industry.

Famous names like Cunard Cruise Line (e.g., Vistafjord, Sagafjord, Queen Elisabeth II), Intercontinental Hotel Berlin, the Steigenberger hotel group as well as the "confidential tip" counted under prominent personalities from politics, music and show branch in Munich, the "Palace Hotel" at which Jens Bernitzky finished successfully his several years of hotel management trainee program and which was at the same time the entrance in the marketing & sales departement.Jens Bernitzky

During the past 9 years Jens Bernitzky has worked as a sales & marketing manager for two of the most important enterprises in the German golf branch and. in the German Golfhospitality: The Hartl Resort in Bad Griesbach/Bavaria (at that time the largest Golf Resort of Europe with 6x 18-hole courses and about 700 rooms) as well as for the CLUBHAUS AG, one of Germanys leading golf course management companies and inventor of serveral products related with golf tourism (eg. "Heide-Golf-Card", "Jetzt-Golfen.de") with headquarter in Lüdersburg near Hamburg.

In 2008 Jens Bernitzky established his Agency "Golf Tourism Development & Services" which already in his first year consulted wellknown Costumers such as the Tourist Board of Lower Saxony (2nd. largest State in Germany) and the Hardenberg Resort.

Miscellaneous: Pannelist at the KPMG "Golf Business Forum" 2004 in Budapest, Speaker at the "INVGolf Forum" 2005 Belek/Turkey, Speaker at the Baltic Sea Tourism Conference 2008 Turku/Finland and 2009 Tartu/Estonia.

Jens Bernitzky is also host of two golf related groups within Europe's largest Business Network "XING" which have more than 20.000 Members. He is responsible for publishing the frequent Newsletter "Green-Discoverer" (www.green-discoverer.de) and organizing several domestic and international golf trips for his members.

In 2009 he received the recognition of the German Golf Federation (DGV) as Consult for Golftourism and Golfmarketing.
With the official start of his Marketingcooperation "Deutsche Golf Strasse" (German Golf Road) in May 2011, it was immediatly recognized by the German Tourist Board (DZT) as a partner of the official "German Scenic Routes".
